“Twalk with Me – A Pilgrim Journalist”

I recently attended a EPWN luncheon, where there was a very special guest speaker. Why so special??

Well, because two years ago, Wijnand Boon placed his furniture on the sidewalk and left his job, to follow his dream and to pursue a mission of peace, through his program “Twalk with Me.”


He spoke about how he came to a decision for his journey, as an avenue (pardon the pun) to prove that social media can connect people through the commonality of humanity, rather than distance them from each other.

He added that he has two more years of walking to go, with the end point being the “Masterpeace” gathering in Cairo, Egypt. It was a pleasure to meet and talk with Wijnand; we had a lot of questions that I’m sure he has answered a thousand times already. I wish him a peaceful journey, continued success, and happy feet!
