Journées Européennes des Patrimoines (European Patrimony/Heritage Days)

September 15 and 16 are the Journées des Patrimoines, where, all over France, the public can freely access monuments, government buildings, and privately owned sites – areas that are generally not accessible and are generally closed to the public.  The theme this year is “Hidden Heritage.”

In this link, you can click on “Le Programme” and then do a search for the “Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur” region and commune of “Nice” to see what sites are participating. These two days provide a great opportunity to connect with French history and culture – Vive la France!
